The summer exhibitions and Fiskars Summer Season were opened on Saturday May 12th. Fiskars Design Village 2012-programme includes as many as eight different exhibitions in the village and one in Helsinki, in
Red Cross Pohja's fleamarket in the Old Threshing house.

Since the 1940s, the Local History Society has collected objects, photographs and memories about everyday life in Fiskars. The exhibition presents the work and living conditions of ironworkers between the 19th century and the 1940s.
