Christmas in Fiskars Village

Christmas in Fiskars Village is filled with warm atmosphere, delicious food and many things to see and do. Most shops are open from Tuesday to Friday from noon 'til 5pm and Sat-Sun 11am-5pm. The whole village is full of Christmas cheer, come join in! The Christmas season is opened on November 26th and lasts until December 23rd.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM 2011

Most of the events are on the weekends but the shops are open also during the week!

Saturday, 26 November

10am-3pm  Special sale of furniture prototypes and model pieces at Nikari cabinetmakers. Number 30 on the map.

11am Christmas opening at Fiskars Museum. Christmas exhibition, Father Christmas' workshop and glogg in Slaggbyggnaden. Free entrance!

11am-5pm  Ideas for decoration in Fiskars Shop. Come and learn about using Fiskars products to make Christmas crafts!

At noon guided walking tour in Finnish with Christmas theme. Start at the Clocktower. Duration 30 min, free entrance!

Noon-5pm "Iron ladies"-exhibition at Copper Smithy

1pm-3pm Ginger bread-workshop for children and adults at the Gastronomic Academy in the Assembly Hall. The workshop is guided by Fiskarsin Martat, entrance fee 3 €. You can join in anytime between 1pm and 3pm!

2pm-5pm Blow your own Christmas presents of glass at Bianco Blu glass studio. Price 45 €/adult, 30 €/child. Reservations: FiskarsInfo tel. +358 (0)19 277 7504. Reservations are also taken at Bianco Blu the same day.

2pm-5pm Christmas present workshop at the forge. Forge a candle holder for yourself or for present! Price: 15 €/pp

Spot Santa's Little Helpers in the village from noon and at 2pm at Paatero's Pottery and Shop

Scouts set up a tent next to the Old Locomotive. Program for children, Christmas calendars on sale.
