FAQ and feedback

Q: What are the Fiskars Village opening hours?

A: Fiskars is an active village community that is open for visitors all year round. In the summer and Christmas seasons, the exhibitions, workshops and shops usually have extended opening hours, that is, from 10am to 6pm daily. You can check the precise opening hours for each service under Services. Please note that many of the shops also open upon request outside normal opening hours.

Q: Can you explore the village by car?

A: You can tour the village grounds on foot, by bicycle or by car. However, we recommend that you park your car and continue on foot or by bicycle.

Q: Are dogs allowed in the village?

A: The normal Finnish regulations on pets apply in the village grounds. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the grounds. If you want to take your dog into a shop, café or restaurant, please ask permission from the staff. Dogs are allowed on the restaurant terraces. When walking a dog, make sure you remove any excrement from tended areas. According to the law, tended areas include lawns, areas with flowerbeds, and paved roads.

Q: Can you have a picnic in the village?

A: By all means! A perfect spot for a picnic is the Inko Park next to the market place. Be sure to tidy up after your picnic, so the park remains pleasant for other visitors and village residents.
