The Ekenäs Summer Concerts-festival celebrates its 20th Anniversary. The jubilee concert will be held on Saturday August 3 in Fiskars old knife factory, where more than 100 musicians will perform Ludwig van Beethoven´s masterpiece, The 9th Symphony.
On stage we will see The Finnish Chamber Orchestra with conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste together with the Finnish Chamber Orchestra’s Youth Academy and The Helsinki Music Centre Chorus. The musicians are: Virva Puumala, soprano, Virpi Räisänen, mezzo soprano, Christian Juslin, tenor and Jaakko Kortekangas, baritone.
