Christmas at Hammarbacken, Fiskars Museum

When snowflakes are falling and you can hear jingle bells in the village street is time to open the cozy Christmas at Hammarbacken. This year we celebrate Christmas with a tasty Christmas exhibition. The exhibition called Christmas Bread offers delicious information about traditional Christmas breads and pasteries. In our cozy Chistmas Coffee Shop you can taste pastries made from local recipies. The museum shop is filled with lovely Christmas gifts for everyone.

At the Christmas Opening The Abbess Hildegard af Bingen presents the Christmas exhibition in finnish at 11.15am, 12.15pm, 3.15pm and in swedish or english at 2.15 pm. Visitors are also welcomed to help the historical Iron Works villagers with grinding flour, baking Ginger breads and writing Chistmas cards. The Window nr. 2 in Fiskars Advent calendar opens in The Pohja Local History Archive. During the opening day we serve Mulled wine (Non-alcoholic) to all visitors and have free admission!
